These terms and conditions govern all use of the Kau London Limited Store website.

("The site") at www.thekaustore.com and your use of the site constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you are not authorised to use the site. You agree to indemnify Kau London Limited for any loss or damage caused by your breach of these terms and conditions.

Kau London Limited may change these terms and conditions from time to time and it is your responsibility to ensure that you keep up to date with any such changes. Your continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of such amended terms and conditions.

All rights, including database rights and copyright, in this site and its contents are owned or used under license from third parties by Kau London Limited.

You are prohibited from doing any act which is prohibited by the Copyright, Design and Patents act 1988 without Kau London Limited's prior written permission, including adapting, broadcasting, copying, distributing, publishing, showing in a public place or storing all or any part of the site. You are permitted only to use the site for lawful and personal purposes.

Kau London Limited expressly reserves all rights not expressly granted by Kau London Limited within the site.

No representations or warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, are given by Kau London Limited in relation to the contents of this site including, without limitation, any warranty that the site is free from errors or viruses.

Kau London Limited shall not be liable for any damage caused, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for consequential compensation whatsoever (howsoever caused) which arise out of or in connection with the use of the site, provided that nothing in the terms and conditions shall limit or exclude Kau London Limited liability for injury caused by its negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation. Kau London Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for the contents of any other website to which it may be linked.

Any personal data submitted by you to this site is protected under UK Data Protection Legislation and is subject to Kau London Limited's privacy policy. If any of these terms and conditions are found by any court or other body of competent jurisdiction to be wholly or partly illegal, unreasonable or otherwise unenforceable it shall to the extent of such illegality, unreasonableness or unenforceability be deemed severable and the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions and the remained of such provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The substantive Laws of England shall govern these terms and conditions and you agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Terms of Trade

After you have placed your order with us, we will send you an email confirmation of that order. This email is a confirmation that we have received your order and is an acceptance of that order by us.

Availability

Our acceptance of your order is subject to stock availability and cleared authorisation of your payment to us.

Once we have received cleared funds from you, we will look to deliver your order within 28 days of our acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order is not a guarantee of delivery. If for whatever reason, i.e. long term out of stock situations, we cannot deliver your order within the originally 28 day time period stated, we will inform you of any delay and provide you with a new delivery date. If we are unable to deliver goods to you or you choose to cancel your order at this point, a full refund will be given.

Payment

Payment can be made using the following major credit or debit cards.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Maestro, Solo or Electron.

Delivery

We deliver all orders subject to stock availability and authorisation of payment.

All orders placed for delivery within the UK Mainland will attract a �7.50 carriage charge and must be addressed to and made to a valid UK postcode address.

For deliveries on all orders placed within the UK Mainland where we incur additional carriage charges from our carriers for delivery and, for orders placed outside of the UK Mainland, i.e. to a Northern Ireland, Highlands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Channel Isles address, all will attract an additional �5 shipping fee.

Deliveries to Continental Europe and the Rest of the World will attract separate shipping fees based on their postal zone address. Countries in Zone 1 will attract a �15.00 shipping fee. Countries in Zone 2 will attract a �25.00 shipping fee and Countries in Zone 3 will attract a �35.00 shipping fee.

Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Gibraltar, Ireland, Italy, Luxemburg, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.

Zone 2:

Norway, Switzerland, USA.

Zone 3:

The Rest Of the World.

All orders will be sent "recorded to be signed for" and will require a signature from you upon delivery, this to ensure all parties are aware that the delivery has been made.

Cancellation of Orders

Kindly note that should you decide to cancel an order that you have placed through our website, you must do so via info@kauboots.com as soon as is practically possible.

Orders can only be cancelled before the processing and dispatch procedures have begun or if the specific goods in question have begun being manufactured for you.

Returns and Exchanges

We make every effort to ensure that your order is correct, in pristine condition, have been through our quality control procedures and carefully dispatched to you, so that you can enjoy your individual purchase from us.

If however you want to return items to us, you must notify us by email at returns@kauboots.com within 3 days of their receipt.

Once we have validated your purchase of goods from us and accepted your request for return, we will issue you with returns paperwork, which you should enclose with the goods you are returning to us. Please ensure that when sending goods back to us they remain unworn and are insured, as we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items being returned to us. Kindly note that postage costs on returned items are not refundable. Also note that any returns authorisation will only be valid for one calendar month from the date printed on the returns documentation.

Once we have received the goods and verified that they are in pristine condition or that any fault claimed is valid, your account will receive a refund for these goods within 7-10 working days of our receiving them.

For Exchange items, exchanges are only allowed where the goods do not fit, or have been damaged or prove defective on receipt. In this instance you must follow the returns procedure outlined above and the goods concerned will then be exchanged for an equally priced replacement. Please note that we will only issue replacement goods after we have received your returned exchange items and we do not accept returns or exchanges sent to us without preauthorisation.

Purchasing Your Boots

We want you to have a unique experience when you order your Boots from Kau.

You are an individual, different from anyone else and your Boots are equally individual and unique to you.

Made from the finest hides available by our manufacturing company, who have over 80 years experience in the industry, we believe that you will be thrilled with your Boots once they have been delivered to you.

Kindly note that because of the uniqueness of each hide we use to make your Boots and because of the seasonality during which our manufacturing company obtains them, the colour shade and length of hide on the Boots you purchase may vary slightly from those shown on our website photographs.

We would also ask you to kindly note that when producing Mainly Black, Mainly Brown or Mainly White Boots that we cannot totally guarantee that each Boot will be 100% Black, Brown or White. Again the colouring on the hides used may contain shards, or small patches of Black, Brown, Tan, White or Grey (in the case of Mainly Black or Mainly Brown Boots) or Black, Brown or Tan (in the case of Mainly White Boots), in them, which occur naturally in the hides we use.

The same principles apply when you order Black and White, Brown and White or Tan and White Boots. Again there maybe small patches of other colours within the body of the Boots.

You should also be aware that our manufacturing company is obtaining hides from cattle breeders to produce Our Mainly Black Boots, which can and may contain a proportion of Very Dark Brown colouring in them which maybe visible in specific lighting conditions.

Experience tells us that these variations often adds to the uniqueness of your Boots.

Our manufacturing company uses some sheepskin linings that have been dyed to produce the luxurious black colour you see. On rare occasions some colour pigmentation maybe visible on bare feet or on socks when you remove your Boots. Gentle washing of feet or socks should alleviate this occurrence.

Standard Boots

Our Standard Boots come in three differing heights, Short (ankle), Tall (calf) and Knee and in six different colour choices. Each Boot has soft, warm white wool lining with an Eva rippled sole or a Stitched moccasin sole. Stylish and cool, these Boots are available in sizes 3-8, other sizes are available and will be made on receipt of your order and delivered to you within 28 days.

Deluxe Boots

Our Deluxe Boots come in the same differing heights and colour choices as our Standard Boots but the extra thick sheepskin lining for extra warmth in a choice of Oatmeal or Black plus the choice of either our Eva rippled sole or our Stitched moccasin sole makes these Boots that little bit special. Available in sizes 3-8, other sizes are available and will be made on receipt of your order and delivered to you within 28 days.

We also have a special soft leather addition to our Deluxe Boots range. Black in colour, with an extra thick Black sheepskin lining and Stitched moccasin sole in both short and tall heights, this elegant Boot stands out in our own herd! Available in sizes 3-8, other sizes are available and, like all our other Boots will be made on receipt of your order and delivered to you within 28 days.
